That humans started out in africa and walked all the way up to the middle east, through china, through freezing russia, somehow managed to cross the Bering strait, all through cold ass alaska, all the way down to the US, all the way down through mexico, all the way through south america and finally ended up in places like chile and argentina?

This is just so insanely far, why would humans keep wandering around in random directions like this? Also, how did they make it through Alaska without freezing to death? Even if they could make the 20k mile trip, why would they want to walk through 5k miles of insainly cold landscape, they had no way of knowing there is anything on the other side.

Also if there are any geniuses on here, how did the first people make it to hawaii? Its like 1000 miles away from the nearest island, and I cant image someone would volunteer to sail their boat in a random direction for a few months with no guarantee of there being anything.
