I'm generally edgy and there's a bunch of things that are shitty about 3Blue1Brown, but it's fair to say that his production quality is off the chart so it would be bitter to shit on him.

I still don't support this popsci shit. He should encourage people to put good lectures online, not "math is beautiful" 10 minute tiktok shit everybody in 2nd year math known

i was gonna enter that contest with a video on

but the video ending up being over an hour long and there was no way for me to make the deadline. ill eventually start working on it again. maybe for next year.

What do you mean, most of the videos he selected as the best contain a lot of actual concrete math, just like his own videos, 3b1b is probably the least pop of all pop sci/math channels out there, second only to ones like viascience.
