You realize "big words" relies on a listener, right? So there is no universal answer. What a 3 year old or 70 IQ dude might find "a big word" might be just regular adult speech.

No, because I don't talk to people that legitimately have no clue what the word means (rather than maybe knowing it but encountering it rarely). And if I do, I don't give a shit about baffling them, I just want to get it over with quickly.
