I work for a company that does soldering. They have big agitated pots of solder with lead in it at hundreds of degrees. I wash my hands every day but I see black dust coating ventilation in there. Is it possible for there to be lead particles in the air and if so how much exposure would it take to btfo my IQ? I've felt myself become more and more retarded the past 2 years but that's also partly because I sleep 5 hours a night on weeknights to the point I feel dissociated from reality since June 2020. Now I'm sure most of the degradation of my mental state can be blamed on that but I also worry I have lead poisoning. I have told coworkers of my suspicions when they bring it up independently but that's about it. My boss claims it's "the kind of lead that will go right through us"....what the fuck?
