The dosage is counterintuitively high.
Then after like three weeks the side effects subside, because your body stops making as much of the serotonin and you have more receptors. Now you are dependent on the medication to reach normal levels. If you stop now you have withdrawal sickness.
This is all on top of anecdotally 'feeling less' of everything...
Seems like an odd approach.
From a distant perspective, it's almost as if Big Pharma takes a predatory approach towards anyone that is either problematic, or even vulnerable/weak.
But the mantra is strong "take your meds" "the meds take time to work"
perhaps this really is the best that medical science has discovered in an effective approach, that just happens to cover a wide field of patients.
