Once you learn those two, especially mechanical, you basically dipped a bit in everything, so you can learn physics (in it's entirety) after to make that understanding concrete.
Also since a degree in mechanical engineering means that you got the fags in academia trying to groom you to join then, you will have somewhat of an understanding of reading papers. From that you can basically read the papers the fags slaved away to write (normally without practical application), and make practical applications for them.
There's some slav game designer on youtube who does similar (forgot name, did one for atmosphere and how it changes as you go through), he basically reads papers compsci fags wrote, and makes them actually applicable. If you can find him he deff has the modern inventor mindset
