Huh, what's wrong with this? If someone who works in some science related field you can assume that science is part of their identity. Otherwise they probably wouldn't be in science as there are fields that are better paying.

Doing actual science (investigating hypotheses, the significance arithmetic evaluations, redoing well-known experiments, etc) can be a rewarding experience at times but it’s not something you’re going to see every day. It’s extremely meticulous. Look at the papers trying to measure G more and more precisely. That is what real science looks like
