>>13789630meth and amphetamine are not similar experiences because meth lasts much longer than your brain can maintain neurotransmitter equilibrium. in other words, amphetamine wears off after 8 or 10 hours, around the time you would start feeling tired normally. meth keeps pushing the pedal to the metal much longer, 24 hours for some people. meth is practically guaranteed to give you a hard crash even if you don't redose. that's what makes it so dangerous. once you take the plunge, you're in for a real bad time sooner or later. many people cave and redose during the crash to stop feeling like shit, and that's when they get going on a multi-day binge and get hooked.
>any tips? Warnings?only take as much as you need. wake up and start with 5mg and a cup of coffee. that will be enough for you to get a swift boost and do whatever you need to do. dependence and addiction are always a serious risk with speed, so don't take it most days and save it for when you really need to focus. "All things are poison, and nothing is without poison, the dosage alone makes it so a thing is not a poison."
check the diagnostic criteria for adhd and see if you fit the description. if you meet the diagnostic criteria any psychiatrist will have a strong reason to prescribe you either amphetamine itself, or mephylphenidrate which is a safer alternative. you're not going to get in any trouble so long as you don't waltz into their office and beg them for drugs.
my long term advice would be to find a way to switch to nicotine and/or caffeine. most people, even those diagnosed with adhd, don't truly need amphetamines to function, and taking these drugs for long periods of time isn't exactly the pinnacle of neurobiological hygiene. plus there is a social stigma and you can get in legal trouble for taking a chemical that makes you smarter.
