Rheinmetall is the closest and they lack any kind of capacity that DJI has, so they have put so much effort to edge out a better drone with very specific capabilities, but are overall completely behind in drone development
people just think the US will automatically have the lead when you have put no effort in maintaining it, but people in drone technology will agree that China is at least at parity with the US drones, but it's more reasonable to say Chinese drone technology has surpassed the US already
