IIRC the other guy had problems with ideas such as, "in a society with mostly self driven cars there will be less accidents, because computers have much better reaction time than humans" "all cars on a street would be able to accelerate at the same time when the light goes from red to green"
His disagreements were not very well founded at all, and had moral undertones, not only scientific technological ones. The idea of cars having a map of every street bothered him, iirc.
I went in hoping the veritasium guy would look like a selllour fraud, but the other guys looked like an internet schizo instead. I guess the veritasium guy is intelligent enough to not do something obvious that would ruin his reputation.
