Think: most didn't die from gas, most camps were forced labor camps were they'd die from starvation, disease, dehydration, plain abuse, etc. The death camps were more direct in killing. Gulags are a perfect analog for how most camps operated: death from labor, the elements, or the guards.

The same retarded arguments for holocaust denial can and are used to deny other democides under communist regimes: plenty of idiots think nobody died in the Soviet Union or China or Khmer Rogue despite the similarly large bodies of physical, literary, and documented evidence. So unless you're saying Mao never massacred private property owners, it may pay off to actually learn history instead of getting narrow opinions from counter-culture media influencers.
