men and women have massive different T counts (magnitudes more) that don't come close to overlapping, yet there are still pansy men who breakdown over stupid shit like women, and (most if not all actually thinking about it) women who almost completely lack all prefrontal cortex functions.
As a male (not one of those fags who thinks he's a woman), if I had to explain it, despite cultural beliefs (impulsive male, melodramatic female), men tend to do stuff out of confidence we can probably deal with it (since we normally can and do), and if we don't get the good outcome of it, it isn't the end of the world (where a lot of women become a headache if you ever been around them while this happens). Looking at the functions of the prefrontal cortex it honestly seems like calmness in a situation correlates with disability in functions, which also makes sense when comparing to women, if you ever had the situation where you do anything remotely risky around a woman, they turn into a panicked mother worrying about her kid, for no real reason (most men see this as the "melodramatic woman" trope).
As for stress sensitivity, that's probably the same thing of following cultural beliefs, reality seems closer that if a man gets stressed, nobody gives a shit, man up, if a woman gets stressed, you have/want to make her feel better/less stressed. Therefore for women it directly benefits appearing stressed rather than sucking it up and dealing with it (like men have to). From that you end up with men developing a higher tolerance to the stress (since you become mentally stronger from the exposure of it), whereas women don't really develop that tolerance, and handle stress the same ability as a kid. It's why men tend to end up being the problem solvers of a unit.
You also have the meta issue as well, where women refuse to cope with stress so the man deals with the problem instead.
