>>13781231>How do preserve life on earth?preserve it for how long? The heat death comes for us all in the end.
> The day will come we need to be ready before it happens.Hollywood makes you think this process happens in a length-of-human-attention-span. This is a multi-billion year process from start to end of the heat death. It wont happen overnight, or over a decade, or over a lifespan of a human, or over several millenia. The "death" will be static from any single human's point of view, entirely unchanged from birth to death.
Survival isn't important, as everyone and everything dies in the end. Only surviving long enough to have a meaningful life, whatever you define that as.
Me, I'm enjoying some coffee and about to do a bit of gardening outside; the last of my eggplant are ready and we are having eggplant parm tonight.
It's a bit chilly tonight, so some hot chocolate and a good book by the fire make all of human existence worth it.
