Glucose. DMEM is a common growth medium.

Yes. Bacterial contamination is a bitch. Cancer cell lines are also used in a vast number of disease models.

There's a handful of known of transmissible neoplasms. From what I recall, most of them affect clams and other similar critters because the water acts the medium of transmission. There's also a venereal tumor that affects dogs.

In the case of dogs and Tasmanian devils, transmission requires very intimate contact and exchanging large amounts of blood or cum. Most of the bioweapon development conducted by the US and Soviets in the 50's to 80's was focused on aerosol deployment. You could theoretically monkey around with some pulmonary tumors for aerosol transmission, but it would require a ton of development for no advantages to "conventional" bioweapons.
