Is there any credibility to these? I've read about people who've claimed to have "died" during operations and left their bodies and when they came back they correctly indentified shit that went on while they were "dead"

Is this true?

With that being said there is a ton of people with anecdotal stories of experience out of body experience during serious surgeries, accidents and on brink of death. These stories have been told across several cultures for thousands of years. Which I suspect is where the concept of spirit being a seperate entity originates from. That too is consistently described the same too. (Feeling light, floating, being able to watch your own body like you got out of it)

Yes Astral Traveling is a real. Have no evidence, but experienced it myself. It sounds very cliched, but you literally can observe yourself from above without physical eyes. People are right, when they say that we are enternal souls, and this body is only a temporary vessel.
I don't know much bro, but astral traveling is 100% real. Hope you can experience it yourself one day, but those bastards calcify our pineal gland on purpose, that's why this phenomenon is so uncommon

No, it's just subconscious kicking in
When active senses don't work or in case of most near deaths, active consciousness is knocked off (like from lack of oxygen or else), then subconscious projects reality and surroundings for you
Something similar happens when dreaming, the perception is just less clear

Doubtful. There has been a study (two actually I think) but it didn't find anything because in none of the monitored rooms occurred an NDE. Personally, I think it's mostly the brain making up shit after the fact - trying to stitch up fragments - trying to make sense.
I don't even like what most of them sound like, it's all so cliche, gay and arbitrary.

Even if there is such a thing as a soul, why would it have characteristics that are clearly a product of biological evolution? "I" am not my thoughts. "I" am not my emotions. "I" seem to be nothing more than a bunch of brain regions strapped together. Consciousness might be a real thing but it might not be more than a blank canvas. I don't know. This dead relative thing is oddly suspicious. Can't say that I have done a shitton of research into this but most NDE people are trying to sell a book.

I have a relative who was in a coma and had a NDE where she talked to the virgin mary and her dead relatives and all that shit. It's just dreams. She also claims to have dreamed a lot while in the coma and would incorporate things she overheard from visitors into the dreams.

op you sent me down the darkest of google holes. this isn't related to nde's but apparently there was a study in 2019 where researchers resuscitated a pig brain 4 hours after slaughter but they did it in a way to prevent neuron activity because of an ethical question i have never considered:

So what about the AWARE study? I think it got two promising cases but all in all inconclusive / negative results.
My mom says she had that when she was in surgery. She saw my brother running throught the hallway and someone later described it to her. But who knows.... she could have mixed the timeline up for sure.
Definitely we need more study on this and without the passive aggressive "science is settled" bs, pretty sure that is what prevented AWARE2.

Well from first person experience a NDE feels like you spin around rapidly and exit your body at the place where the "third eye" chakra is, which corresponds to the pineal gland. When this happened I also suddenly remembered having often done that before as a very young child, but I don't remember any of it, only the spinning in and out of the body feeling.

No clue if that's true but I did get to experience dying after my leg got cut off. It was very pleasant experience overall but I didn't experience leaving my own body. I remember it being very warm and quiet despite the sirens and yelling. There was no pain and my sensation to physical touch was best described as numb, similar to how your cheek feels at the dentist or when you walk on a foot that's asleep, detached is a good word for it. My vision did get cloudy toward the "end" and the only thing I could focus on was the sky and the warmth. The warm feeling was like stepping out into the sunlight after a long winter, just warm and nice. Before you say, "it was your blood", my blood was flowing downhill and away from my body. Went through a very bad depression after that experience though, not so much because of the loss of the leg but more to do with the feeling that I missed out on going to some better place. I'm not religious but the warmth was very odd, it was a cradling type of warmth.

nigger the subconscious can project something that happened miles away? there are many reports of people accurately describing something far away from the hospital they were in and even the doctors had no idea
