Finally had time to post this, but you guys won't believe this.

I work with the JWST team. Not really a dev or scientist, but part of the janitor team basically.
But the whole facility is panicking since this morning!

THE JWST IS FUCKING GONE!! JUST GONE!!

Everyone came to work this morning and the place looked clean and normal except the JWST is not there! No one knows what happened. Is it theft? Did the government decide the military should take over? Some classified shit? No one knows.

We were just told by management like 30mins ago to basically go home and not worry about it. I am told to stay here with my team to clean shit up and then leave. Will be gone by noon probably after we close this place.
Not sure what's going on, but rumor is that it will be handed over to Space Force to use a surveillance satellite.
