- Societal Strategy:
The government forces you to learn the same exact thing as everyone else until you are approximately 18 years old in most western countries, furthermore you learn "a little bit" of many things, making you completely useless to society economically, because you know the same as everyone else, and on top of that you know very little comparatively to anyone that specialized in any of these fields.
An analogy would be creating an MMORPG where you force everyone until level 20 to put exactly 1 point into every skill and specs.
The result would be that every character have the WORST possible configuration, indeed, as you are spread out in everything, because you distributed 1 point everywhere, any player that create a character with any amount of specialization will be better than you. It's literally impossible to make a worse character than this.
We have a society where the 18 years old are absolutely useless, where they could be useful at 8-14 years old depending on their intelligence with a specialization, earning money for themselves having much more time to prepare for the future. But I guess having a mass of 25 years old debt slaves acquiring useless pieces of papers called diplomas is considered preferable.
I could continue with other talking points for hours.
>How could we improve it?In short, abolish it completely, and let people choose what they want, we don't need a rigid structure, it's child abuse.
