mewing has some truth to it. as a little kid i distinctly remember the sheer pressure that my tounge put on the roof of my mouth and how my neck felt in line iwth my head rather than my head in front of my neck. I had a chad jawline and dentists and orthodontists said I would have straight teeth and plenty of room for wisdom teeth. over the years my head moved forward and i eventually began to notice that my tongue didn't put as much pressure on the roof of my mouth and where the pressure was on my palate. my skull continued to grow but my face grew in more narrow an unattractive than expected, jaw didn't keep up, and my teeth started to become less straight and my wisdom teeth were going to impact. i know one guy from childhood whos always had a really strong tongue, heads always been angled even or upwards slightly, and he has the most chad bone structure I know in person.
