Riddle me this /sci/,
The year is 2700 BCE. Some dude calling himself "Pharaoh" has asked you to put a door on one of his temples. You dont really know who he is, or what the temple is for, but he offers grain and cow in exchange for your services. You agree.
You arrive on the site, and are shown to the spot where the door is to be built. You note that the rock was a common one of the area, that had a nice aesthetic, quartzite.
They hand you a stone chisel, and off you go drilling the the holes for the hinges. While doing so you notice it frequently sparking, and emitting light like a fire or the sun. You let your foreman know, who in turn notifies the Pharaoh that the light of the gods is coming out the door.
So question. Do you ignore this for the next 1000 years, or do you devote an entire priesthood into figuring out whats going on?
