>>13761303Thats because nobody actually knows what is happening, science doesnt prove things correct. Science works by proving things incorrect.
I was always a really shit student but i was incredible with tests because there is only one right answer so i would just rule out the bullshit and get the correct answer. That answer wasnt always correct but it was the most correct so i get credit. Science works the same way, you dont have to be correct, you just have to be correct enough for your experiment to work and if you werent then hopefully you can be correct enough about why it didnt work that you can think of a new one.
This is part of the reason i think people who say things like "everything we know about medicine and biology and human physiology says the vaccine should be safe and effective” are either stupid or purposefully obtuse.
Like what is the purpose of trials and all of the laws and regulations around experimental medical treatments if not to catch problems we previously did not fully understand or appreciate?
All medical laws and regulations are written in blood like most human laws and regulations. Some absolutely horrible and preventable thing happens and everyone is mortified so we vow it will never happen again and we learn what went wrong and we pass laws and regulations designed to prevent a similar future occurrence.
When you argue for skipping procedures not only are you disrespecting all of the people who gave their lives or greatly suffered who are the reason for those procedures existing in the first place but you are also disrespecting all of the people who could give their lives and suffer as a result of your arrogant belief that we are too smart to make mistakes or miss potential health complications.
Science is a method, you dont simply trust science any more than i simply trust questions anyone who asks you to "trust science" might as well be asking you to just have faith as far as im concerned.
