Norman J Wildberger has made an extensive series where he presents a lot of good points about the tendency of many Mathematicians trying to avoid a valid definition of real numbers and proofs of their arithmetic and properties. However Real numbers as a structure seem to have some validity because empirically they give consistent results. Can you recommend me books on detailed explanations about Real/Irrational numbers themselves?
