First is people who are extremely emotionally invested in the idea that they are born with a high IQ. Their self esteem is based on being born into an exclusive club of smart people. When you suggest they aren't special, they get angry.
The second is the polar opposite, someone who believes he wasn't born with talent and that's why he couldn't accomplish his dreams. They get angry too because they feel they've tried so hard yet failed, so they believe from personal experience it's wrong.
