The "multiverse" would continue to expand as the wave propagated, with relative neighboring points being similar and "branching" from some base universe.
The cumulative energy of the wave would be constant and the energy of any specific point, directly corresponding to the quantity of information at that specific point in the wave, would diminish. This would hold consistent with current models.
