Let be an arbitrary constant. Assuming their own farts stink to others, then there must be something that makes x's farts stink (e.g. bad food, burrito, etc) badly. But if they don't stink, then that would be a contradiction to our assumption, and it can only follow that it is their own farts. In short, I didn't fart, you did.
