Now, if you were to ask any scientist if we "think", I certain they'd conclude otherwise - yes; we "think" or are "aware", but there is nothing to prove as much empirically.
Until the science can catch up, you have to separate the physical from the metaphysical, bracketing the fuzzy logic till we can better solve the issue later; otherwise, we're going to start running into very weird, counterproductive measures.
