I'm pro vaccines. Vaccines are arguably one of the greatest achievements of medical science. But these 1st generation Covid vaccines clearly do NOT WORK. We need an open discussion about retiring this failed piece of technology and replacing it with something that is actually effective, instead of branding anyone who so much as presents discouraging data as a conspiracy theorist. The scientific community as a whole is losing much of its societal credibility because it continues to prop up the pro-vaccine narrative for purely political reasons.
