You've got superman for 10 hours a day, for the next 50 years, basically unlimited strength on a loan. How do you use him best to produce the most energy over time? Make him push and operate a colossal dynamo? Cause atomic fission through clapping his hands while holding some radioactives?

Well after a tiny bit of research it would seem that superman can fly at (of course) light speed. I would use the first year to build a colony and manufacturing plant on the moon, and then the subsequent 49 would go into delivering satellites to the sun capable of beaming back energy in the form of lasers.

My math puts it around 700,000 trips, if he took 10,000 satellites each time we would have a nice little dyson swarm under way. And thanks to the moon base anything else we wanna do in space will be significantly easier as well.

How do you expect him to do that by himself? I assume you meant he goes there and builds the infrastructure for you because even today we're not capable of such a dangerous, colossal task of engineering within a single year.
