can anybody here explain the advantage of vectored vaccines over regular existing protein ones

while i understand the potential uses of viral vectors for THERAPY i fail to understand their uses in vaccination especially knowing that regular vaccines are already extremely effective against viruses that do not evolve rapidly and provide long term b cell induced memory

what is the benefit of having your cells produce a viral protein ? by which mechanism does that protein leave the cell to be recognized by your immune system
