i want to first look at the current voter pool and ask you if you believe that given the current state of politics in the U.S. is representative of one that contains virtuous people in a significant enough quantity to influence the outcome a decision. the answer is no, the main purpose of the idea of solving a double integral is to filter out people who cannot understand math beyond beginner calculus under the shallow assumption that people unable to do so are mouth breathing troglodytes whos opinions should be disregarded.
although not my original intent, a roadblock that prevents people who aren't educated in specially natural sciences or engineering may increase the proportion of virtuous and wise people within the voter pool as wisdom is often achieved though not only experience, but intelligence
there are two possibility's to solving the problem of your question that i can think of
age requirement of at least 50 years combined with double integral
or a second question that probes into the voters ability to think critically on a topic regarding ethics. such as "do you support the death sentence and why" with the voters answer on WHY being the primary point of the question, not whether or not they actually support the death sentence
