Scientifically speaking, which way is more practical for counting numerous objects, for example you might want to count the number of potatoes inside a bag. Would it be more efficient to count 2, 4, 6... or 2, 5, 7, 10....
Is the additional mental strain in order to group objects in alternative number of groups worth the speed at which one can count?
