Post crack theories you have about life outside of conventional solar system, or hell life outside of a planet.

it would depend if there's a deep part of an ocean that remains unfrozen and there's an active core enough for seismic activity to occur. europa is a pretty good comparison if not the only comparison to see if it's possible

If we are talking cellular life extremeophiles absolutely could. Like ones on earth probably could.

For more interesting life a rouge planet is a great vehicle for transporting your species across the universe. May be slow and on a set line, but you have all of the building capacity of a planet on arrival instead of a few space ships.

Simple anaerobic life may be plausible in a chemically reducing environment, and moons around a jupiter-like may generate energy through tidal forces.
Complex life seems to depend on high energy oxidizers though, and in turn bright stars
