Wouldn't it be smarter to use bacteria similar to the ones that already inhabit our body and help digest foods? You could make them use a portion of what they consume to synthesize these exposures you're talking about with the risk of worms or their dead bodies clogging up vital parts of your body

The only reason why worms clog anything up are because they are too big to pass through small vessels, there are strains which are thinner than the thinnest blood vessels so they don't clog anything up
