have u ever taken two seconds to think why dinosaurs in museums are all replicas or casts? they never let you see the actual piece? and if they did the major bone is made from bits and pieces? do you realize that to discover a new species they would have to dig and dig and dig and just find junk scattered? And then one day they have to say: Hey this is a scapula and these other bits and pieces are part of the same? It's fking ridiculous to think ANYONE has the intuition to realize that bits and pieces of bone go together to make something recognizable. not to mention they never find a complete skeleton. not to mention that bones literally would not last millions of years, not even humans in caskets can help but turn to dust.

The older a bone gets the less chance you have of identifying that connection what’s even more hilarious is that it’s now part of the dogma that dinosaur bones are hollow lmfao they would be disintegrated by now over millions of years
