It's over 30 orders of magnitude weaker than the "weak" nuclear force and its scalar boson (the graviton) has yet to be measured because to measure it you'd have to have a detector the size and Jupiter to catch it's insanely long wavelength. If you take Maxwell's equations and add another dimension to them (so they exist in 5D) you get the equations that describe gravity, so there's a lot of talk that gravity "leaks" into another universe through an additional dimension that's unmeasurable to us.
