I'm sure there have been studies on chemical "signatures" of ADHD and brain scans of people with ADHD compared to normal population you'd have to go google it your self. I'm not going to spoon feed you. You will probably find studies saying they are same the or different.

I don't find it hard to believe that some children and adults weren't built to sit and stare at a screen for 8+ hours a day. I'd say that ADHD is the norm, being "normal" in modern society freakish from a biological perspective.
