The students who consistently fail and drop out (minorities) don't fail because of systemic racism, teachers giving them bad grades, or the racist school atmosphere being unwelcoming, so they lack the "inspiration" to do well - no, in fact all those students do great and make connections and start to improve while they're in school. The only problem is - THEY ARE ONLY IN SCHOOL MAYBE ONCE A FUCKING WEEK!
There simply ISN'T anything to grade! Some barely manage to submit one single assignment! We build these connections, and start to help them find success, then they fuck off for a week straight, and by the time they come back all progress has been reset! We regularly call their parents to get their families involved in education, like they're always bitching about, and it's the same thing every time - they act like we're booting their fucking door down in the middle of dinner and accusing their darling child of raping an orphanage to death. Most of the time they don't even give a fuck that their kid missed the entire school year and is going to fail, they just give some too-busy-watching-TV response like "Oh yeah I'll talk to them thanks for calling bye."
So fuck it. Let them skip. Give them all a free pass, with flying colors! Let the schools and teachers look like the amazing angels and saviors of the underprivileged, defeating systemic racism forever!
And then all the employers and businesses can take the flak and be the evil demons perpetuating social injustice, when they refuse to hire any minorities because 99% of the time they will be completely unqualified, even if they "got an education".
And then let them give a free pass too! Fuck it, Jamal, you can be a doctor! Shaneekwah, you can be an astronaut! Ty'rohn'hee, you can be "one a them rich guys run shit yo"!
Let them fill up the workplaces, and let the common people witness how fucking inept they will be.
Then nobody will be able to turn a blind eye anymore.
