1. he wanted to cure certain diseases by using resonance to shatter stuff like viruses and cancer cells. My guess is no one is touching that because although in theory is could work an out of tune machine could kill a whole room of people by breaking the wrong bonds.
2. he made a microscope that used a trick to get much higher resolution than anything at the time, but removed parts of the machine to preserve his trade secret, I think i read a while back where it had been reverse engineered and is now in limited use but often without much credit to Rife.
