This would be online.
I'm not American and didn't do SAT's, and don't know if a tutor is even needed...? Is one really going to help?

Any tutoring places known to be better than others?

Any help very much appreciated: he's a good kid, and a bright kid, hoping to study somewhere elite in the USA.

Tell him the SAT is a joke and to bomb it, go to community College and then transfer to wherever he wants with like a 33 percent higher chance of entry than straight out of high school

yes because english grammar, elementary classical mechanics, and calculus changed so much through out the hundreds of years they have been around from just being taught somewhere else.
tell them to go to a state school, usually the credits transfer no problem.
plus it's just undergrad anyways, who gives a fuck.

I used Khan academy. You can look at what you need to work on and master it and stuff. The SAT is mainly just testing how good you are at avoiding mistakes. It's not hard at all.
