>>13720277I have the feeling that you are just looking for some confirmation, but being an idiot I'll answer you.
The answer is that it's difficult to say, and it also depends on what you define as pattern recognition. I mean, being as disingenuous as you are, it would take no effort for you to search up the well know CHC theory and educate yourself, but you decided to waste everyone's time. But I digress.
Intelligence is basically two main factors - though there are more I won't focus on them because they aren't as important. The two factors are Gf and Gc, which in English translates to Fluid Reasoning and Comprehension-Knowledge. Broken down even more, these terms refer to the ability to acquire and store knowledge and perform complex tasks. This is not necessarily only pattern recognition, though it does include pattern recognition. These factors include but are not limited to the ability to see patterns, the ability to perform syllogistic reasoning verbally, the ability to perform syllogistic reasoning nonverbally, the ability to describe complex patterns verbally, the ability to describe your own thoughts verbally, the ability to perform complex piagetian or mathematical operations, the ability to use reasoning at a rate be it fast or slow, the ability to make predictions, the amount of knowledge one has in their memory both breadth and depth, the speed at which a person learns simple and complex tasks, the ability to apply knowledge to complex problems, the efficiency by which a person organizes data, the efficiency by which a person applies knowledge to complex problems, and on and on and on.
It's not just pattern recognition; it's your speed, it's your ability to learn - which isn't the same thing, it's your knowledge, it's how you use it, if you can use it, and the efficiency and depth of its use.
