This was on a test today -- I spent a lot of time trying to do the integral, then gave up.
At home, I plugged it into WolframAlpha, and got a horribly complicated result.
Wat do?

Break it up into two simpler integrals, one polynomial and one trigonometric-polynomial. Use integration by parts for that one. Use that condition for H(5) to find the integration constant if there is one. Then plug in 2 for the final equation.

Hint: calculate the integral from 0 to infinity by doing 0 to 5, then 5 to infinity. Then use the relationships between si(x) and Si(x) [as well as between ci(x) and Ci(x)]. Repeat the same using 2 instead of 5.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a typo on this. x^3/(x^2+2) is piss easy to integrate, but sinx/(x^2+2) requires Ci(x). I imagine you're in a Calc II class and that's not something you'd expect to see.

This problem has been driving me crazy.
Tonight I had the (possibly mad) idea that I can
just substitute 5 for _x_ in the original formula.
