Every replication that failed did not follow the exact protocol of the original experiment. However, the world simply isn't readyready for cold fusion. There are still trillions of dollars of hydrocarbons in reservoirs owned by fossil fuel companies. They're not trying to open new sources of income until they've made their investment back with interest on those reserves. So, big money and politics squashed good science, and ruined the reputation and life's work of a truly brilliant man.
The future will be much kinder to Fleishman.
