I have relatively little difficulty when it comes to the theory behind DE's, even some of the trickier functional analysis stuff is alright.
But god do I hate having to actually solve them, especially PDE's with more than 3 independent variables.
The problem is almost entirely a fuckton of algebra in order to turn the original equation into something that's easier to work with, wich is tedious as fuck.
Seriously, how do physicists and engineers enjoy this?
