Also iirc the damage to the atmosphere causes an increase of UV radiation, so you’re more likely to die of cancer. Plus if you have kids, they’re more likely to experience birth defects. And apparently, male fertility rates have started dropping, and plastic particles have been found in utero.
It’s not much now, but if the trend continues, it’ll be a miserable world when we’re in our 50s-60s.
