Based and mostly true. The only wrinkle is that the vast majority of universities (in the US) require all students to attend class lectures as part of their grade and force mathbros to take useless filler in order to enrich the coffers of useless oxygen thieves on the university administration's payroll. If I wasn't forced to do either of those things on pain of expulsion and financial hardship, I'd absolutely take only the toughest math courses available and crush them.

then how can you have an idea of what kind of asshole is making the tests?

I recall a particular course that was kind of basic in EE, lots of books and shit. But fag prof used to make impossible tests and I mean, impossible, no similar exercises in all bibliography.
