You can't learn physics, you only discover it yourself. And you can't learn how to be a parent, you only discover it yourself. If you want to be a wise human being you have to have some wisdom, which is a process of discovery. And that's the best way to learn to be wise. You have to discover yourself and that means you have to be aware, to learn how to be aware, to learn how to be present. So learning to be present and to learn to be aware and to learn to be wise and to be wise and to be present and to learn to be aware... you have to learn that.
So we can say we are not really learning. If we say we are learning, that means we have an agenda and there is no point being present in our lives, because our agenda is what's important. So if you learn to be present you're learning how to be here and if you really learn to be present you're learning how to be aware and you're learning how to discover the world. You can't learn about the world by looking at it, you have to learn about it by doing it and learning about it and then you'll realise how to change the world. So it's up to you. It's up to you how you learn.
The most valuable thing about life is what we don't know.
It's up to you how you learn.
Learning how to be present in your life is learning how to learn. You are learning how to learn. In that way you are learning how to be wise. It's a great thing to discover, because it's very difficult to really have an inner experience of what we really are. It's very difficult to have an inner experience of ourselves and we can say we're learning, but it's not learning, because it's a process. So that means we are discovering ourselves and we are discovering our world.
