Why the transpose?
Just multiply by the inverse matrix.
Also note that not all square matrices have inverses, only the non-singular ones, that is those with determinant different from zero. So you can't always divide by a matrix.

thanks, dumbass professor didn't even mention that inverse matrices are a thing, only went over the transpose and how to add, subtract and multiply.

any quick and ez way to find the inverse of a square matix?
