if you are unsatisfied with you base level cognitive ability, there is no way to improve it, there is no magic pill. caffeine is an upper, it doesn't make you smarter, it makes you happier and when you're happier then your unsatisfactory base level cognitive ability doesn't bother you as much, so you briefly feel smarter, that is just a mirage.
