I'm more of a "crack open the textbook and teach yourself at home" kinda guy, and I never had any problems at all with exams, but all these little tricks they used to force you to come to class were the death of me (and more importantly my GPA).
In my humble opinion, the "gotta make sure the chillun' go to class!" hand-holding shit should not have any place in determining the grades for a student pursuing a computer engineering degree.
I mean c'mon, at least 90% of the whole major was made up of introvert nerds, have some sympathy for fuck's sake!
