4. increase in crime through out late 20th century has caused a lot of emigration of buinesses, industries etc thus causing workers to leave
5. A lot of emigration is also due to illinois having the highest income tax rate.
6. The city govt in chicago has been democrat lead since 1931, is massively corrupt, that mostly caters to the non white free gibs and shieet.
7. Thus it has become a haven for poor, criminal non whites living on govt gibs.
8. Thanks to Soros DA, they stopped properly prosecuting criminals
9. Since 2015 BLM riots, political radicalism, economic woes (Chicago almost went bankrupt was bailed out, currently blacklisted by creditors), increasing violent crime, the exodus has increased, even blacks are moving away.
All these reasons combined have caused a demographic and social change in chicago, the population decreased and has become stagnant, it is just due white flight and related exodus, the percentage of nonwhites has increased, honestly Chicago is the new Detroit
