Hydrogen is incredibly hard to store or transport. It has the smallest possible atom and not only does it leak through everything, it also deteriorates material.
The only feasible solution is storing the hydrogen as ammonia, and good luck storing enough ammonia to supply cities through the night.
If you wanted an actual comeback tou could at least pretend to know a thing or two about pumped water reservoirs (which are efficient and cheap, yet very limited to certain areas), but no you had to take the retard route with hydrogen pfffffft.
